Paint work and stickerbomb all done.

Featured Replies

Well ive gone ahead and done it now! had a day off today sun was out my stickers in hand and my car back from the paint shop. So then car went into the paint shop for a few reasons, had the paint repaired behind the rub strips that were taken off, as i prefer the car without them.

Also had the black grill surround done in silver to match the rest of the car. New badges will be going on in the next few weeks.

And i decided to try the mirrors in all silver and get rid of the black.

Also had some scratches taken out and some repair work done but im sure you can imagine a silver fabia pannel with out any scratches so i'll leave those pics out!

Right then so car back today, day off and i've been going on about sticker bombing, so i gave it a go, was just going to do the splitter but the number plate surround had to be done as well or it would of looked out of place. I know its not going to be to a lot of peoples taste but i thought sod it lets have a go.

The splitter

the splitter and some of the nuber plate surround

I get some front on shots done in a bit/ tommorow when the number plate is back on but im layering with lacquer at the moment, and looks odd with a black gap in the middle!

So thats it really for a bit, going to decide if im going to do my spoiler or not as the paints starting to fade and crack. let me know what you think its a bit different to whats out there but hey why not.

I like that. The effect works and looks good emoticon-0148-yes.gif

looks good man, will look nice with the plate added. looking forward to pictures with the plate :)

Don't know what to think??? Looks mad. Fair play for having the bottle to do it.

I like it! Deffo unique thats for sure.

I liked the sound of it but after seeing it done I'm not that keen :(

Well done for trying something a little different though

To be fair it's been a fun day playing with stickers! Plus listening to the new foo fighters album!

Different! Rather like it tbh!

Looks well... More shots of the wheels please!! Looked at those and didnt think they'd suit, but I really like the look of them now i've seen them on yours!

Do the whole car! I quite like the look of it but fear I'm too old to do something like that

Not sure about the stickers. But the new Foo Fighters album is great!

Looks awesome :)

Looks ace!

Not a fan. Think it's cos it's silver would look better on a dark car

Looks very cool indeed   ! Was thinking of doing my splitter for a while now, what stickers did you use?

The question is do I do the spoiler!?

The question is do I do the spoiler!?

Be prepared to have the spoiler repainted for when you eventually take the stickers back off one day, there's no way the laquer will stay on when peeling them off. As you know everyone is having problems with laquer peel on they're spoilers.

Other than that, go for it!

Silvers the best colour :)

Wouldn't do it to my car but looks suprisingly good,

Not a fan either, but as long as you're happy :)
