Shame the stereotype is still there though!

And the small mindedness!

I bet most of those that have left negative comments are the ones that brought the vw/audi/seat equivalents and paid £££££ more for a badge :giggle:

Or maybe they just can't bare the fact that a skodas better than there car

Suits me if people still laugh at Skodas. I've never really cared what others think of me, that's their viewpoint and they are welcome to it. Also, it's nice to have that smug feeling when my crappy Skoda shows something far more expensive a clean pair of heels.

Anyone who knows about cars no longer holds that viewpoint though. It's a bit like thinking that the world is flat, out of date and makes you look a bit ignorant of the evidence out there.

There is also a small minority that know the truth about how far Skoda has come, but cannot bring themselves to take the leap of faith and buy one. It's a shame that they live in fear of what the neighbours think, but it must overpower the need to save money for the sake of a badge. Bless them.

..heated rear window which works when your pushing the car along.... :giggle::rofl:

Sorry - I could not resist :D

I think your forgetting the dealers here, they ain't too clever

Oh and the mark 1 interior is not the best i've seen either, mind you its better than the seats i've driven which were nasty almost as poor as the vauxhalls with that silver plastic centre trim!

I agree with this one, my Octavia is bloody brilliant, but VW's and Audi's still have much better quality inside. My Skoda made sense as it was half the price of an equivalent Mk4 Golf GTI.

Skoda's new star power wouldn't have happened without VW!

But as has been mentioned the skoda's half the price, so you sort these and still have money left over......
