Hi guys. Just bought a vRS today.. Had it for about 3 hours and noticed something odd about the wipers. I've searched the site and seennthat the fuses blow quite regularly, but my problem is that just driving along normally, the wipers start of their own accord and will only stop of their own accord?! As far as I'm aware there is no auto wipers. Every other wiper function works as it should. Is there something I am missing? Or is it relates to the fuse issue?

Try tapping the wiper stalk switch on the steering column to see if it is the switch. Failing that, and assuming someone hasn't fitted auto wipers, wiper park position switch in the wiper motor.

I'd say it's the wiper motor as our learned friend above has noted.
