Boost Gauge

Featured Replies

I am looking at getting the bsh boost tap and fitting a boost gauge. Has anyone else got one fitted and where have you mounted it? Also where did you take the live feed from?

Thanks, Rob

Yes i have one fitted. its located on the "A post" using a pod, The constant and ignition feed has been taken from the fuse box and the electric cable that comes from the vacumn solenoid has been routed through the bonnet pull cable grommet. All cables are hidden and pod looks good on "A post", Will try and get some photos for you. Phil.

Cheers Phil. I just want to get it as clear in my head as I can before messing about with it. I have found a gauge and pod that gives various options. Bonnet grommet is a good all. Thanks, Rob

just seen this post myself, I have just bought a boost gauge and got it wired etc, but I have yet to get the boost hose through between engine bay and interior, if anyone knows how to get it through without dismantling my car or drilling holes it would be a great help!

the A-pilar has an airbag in and basically would be an insurance failure if something would happen. Try the one mentioned underneath at Awesome you can order it and it fits.   Newsouth Mk5 Golf Offset Column Pod
