hey guys i've looked through the site and seen this somewhere else but the fix was the wire on the alternator but mine isnt this?

after 10 minutes driving the esp light comes on any ideas? cheers guys

Your car will ideally need scanned to pinpoint the problem!

ok fella i'll do it tomorrow at work, im guessing an abs sensor or something

If it was a wheel speed sensor it would throw an ABS light on as well!

i thought that, ill let you know when i've plugged it in

Could be the longitudual sensor, may just want setting.

hey guys plugged it into the snap on machine we have at work and it came up saying;

load sign for alternator pin speed pick up not plausible signal P1530

all the wiring looks fine to the alternator

any ideas cheers

Is there anyone near you with VCDS?

That'll give you a full DTC, And hopefully point to the root of the problem!

anyone know where to find an image of the broken wire and exactly where it is? mines started doing this and im new to fixing this sort of thing myself but have a friend whos a mechanic who would fix it as long as i know where it is etc
