Good race today

All those that said Hamilton was too aggresive were proved wrong.

Any cracks showing in Vettel's armour?

I bet Alonso was surprised when Hamilton went around the outside at turn two.

If Jenson didn't have bad luck he would have no luck at all.

Mark Webber manages to turn another pole position into a podium finish.

More of the same please

Did he manage to get round without hitting anyone today?

The FIA should crack down on drivers jumping into the crowd and if you don't finish and make it to parc ferme again then should be penalised.

Otherwise yes a good race.

WTF is up with Masa? Does he even try anymore?

Massa isn't brilliant but was good enough to keep Vettel behind. He only got ahead thanks to the pitstop. Brilliant win by Hamilton. Nice to see someone racing. He was even setting fastest laps towards the end even though he had the race pretty much won.

great race by hamilton.

it takes a great driver to make alonso look like a ****.

maybe his critics will shut up now........ there again.

WTF

he didnt jump into the crowd.

he jumped over a fence to get to his team.

its called enthusiasm.

I wouldn't say Lewis made alonso look silly. Massive tyre difference and alonso didn't really resist much. And as good a drive as it was by lewis, like last year he will bin it as much as he wins. He needs to do this consistantly to silence his critics. And also stop talking so much shat like hes been doing !

Hamilton had done one lap on new tyres and Alonso had just come out of the pits on new tyres, I wouldn't call that a massive tyre difference.

Great tyres or not he would of done the same, great move - Alonso was napping otherwise he could of easily squeezed Lewis off the circuit just like lewis did earlier in the race.

Martin said "lewis sees being overtaken as a chance to re-overtake"

Still unsure if what he has underneath him is as competitive as it could be this coming weekend.

Also - did Schumi think that it was a drifting competition?

Kobayashi could have held it

It was 2 laps, and thats the difference between hot and cold which is as big a difference as you can get.

Notice he pulled out about 2 seconds within a few corners after that move - Alonso was sensible if you ask me, there was such a disparity in grip Lewis would of got him somewhere else.

It was a good win tho, its the first time for a long time ive seen Lewis win with what isnt clearly the fastest car. Hopefully the season can continue like this and we can have more Hamilton/Alonso showdowns as they are clearly the best 2 drivers in the field.

Agree with earlier post....if you cross the finish line but don't make it back, then you should be penalised as it's effectively a DNF. Hungaroring next.

It called the finish line, because it denotes the finish of the race. Colin Chapman always reckoned that the car should fall apart after crossing the line, otherwise it had been built too strong.

What's this about the BBC not screening all the races and handing some over to the Murdoch outfit ?
