my speedo jumps around all over the place without me changing speed. all the other dials on the dash work perfectly other than the speedo. It started about 2 weeks ago but then worked fine for about a week but now goes crazy every other time i drive it.

I have been told it could be an electrical fault but have very little knowledge of cars and need an idiots guide as to how fix it and where to start looking.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
