Fabia faulty electrics, possible fix? Convenience Control Unit

Hi there,

I own a 01 fabia elegance tdi hatch. I have the faulty electrics problem, in that the:

- Front passenger/rear electric windows do not work. ONLY CONTROL FROM DRIVERS SIDE. (I cleaned out connectors but no luck)

- Central locking is not working. (Tried the pairing methods but no luck again :/)

- Power steering light comes on and off (heavy sometimes, but goes light again?? :S)

The first two problems I have read up are related to water ingress in the Convenience Control Unit, So I am looking on replacing that. Will it need coding though or can I remove the same part number out another VAG vehicle?

AND WHERE IS THE CCU BOX SITUATED IN THE CAR????

I want to fix up and sell the car so I can purchase a VRS or Ibiza FR TDI.

Help much appreciated.

Passenger switch is known for going, went twice on my mates vRS a few years back.
