sorry about the vague title.

i tried to listen to music through the aux on my 08 fabia II (3) 1.9d. used a cable from my iphone and from a friends ipod and tried a second cable too. nothing.

pressed the buttons on the dance unit several times and have aux on - nothing.

so i searched through this forum and there were quite a lot of complaints from owners on this area and as i have now read about 15 pages, i have a thought.

it would be nice to be able to play and watch a dvd on a screen that has sat-nav facitity, that has also bluetooth and sd/usb sockets too. perhaps with dab as well. maybe this is all to adventerous!

does such a unit or units exist i wonder?

There is a kenwood system that has a dvd player tv tuner sat nav etc, not sure if it has dab though

i went around a few audio dealers, halfords and searched t'internet.

found a few options although none with dab though.
