I think it should be if you tick the BAP protocol option when you code it.

Yes, as the FL will have the later climatronic display and supporting module.

So it should just 'work'. If not, then do as Hedge suggests

OK, whipped out the Bolero last night and popped in the Columbus. No MFSW control, no Maxidot, co climate display. I'm taking it to be coded on Monday but was wondering if anybody had a defacto list of what exactly needs coding?

OK, PN of the Columbus I've got is: 1Z0 035 680 A

I beleive this is fine for the MkII but not for the facelift.

Just had my friendly local Skoda tech try and code it and he can't get it to work with the MFD or the Steering Wheel Controls. It also will not show the Climate.

Gutted but hey, it's now up for grabs and would be ideal for a pre FL owner.

Not on a 55-plate pre-FL, no. The control modules for the sensors and climate aren't compatible.

To be honest I don't give a toss about the park sensors - I reckon the sudio is sufficient and you should not be watching the screen anyway. Also on the pre FL the aircon controls are less fussy and much much easier to decipher than the FL ones so again it's not essential by any means. Neither of these worked on my previous Octy and I never missed them.

If your still interested PM me. The unti is in nice nicl - no marks on the front panel and it comes with a dual Fakra adaptor for the antenna connection and the replacement fascia in plain black. Running V7 maps too. Only downside is that the SD car reader does not work but by all account this is common and again, I've never missed it. Get an ipod interface and use a USB hard drive or an iPod - much less mucking about!
