Is there a way of knowing what columbus model I have (Brand New Superb Elegance July 2011) and what version of maps are on the HDD? I do not have 7 digit postcode search either. I therefore think I have an older version of the mapping, should I challenge the dealer about it?

Hi and welcome to Briskoda. I would have a word with the dealer, no harm in trying, but I think it depends when you ordered it. I believe there is an update available but you have to pay for the new disc - I'm not an expert on Columbus by any means though! Try posting your question in the ICE, Security and Insurance or Superb threads and see if anyone else can help.
