Right. Whilst having the car bonnet up to take a piccy... I noticed a slight hissing sound...

It seems... That something has perforated a pipe - but i'm not entirely sure what pipe it is.

Any ideas?

This is on the drivers side front corner, pretty much in front of the wheel arch.

I've had to wrap it in duct tape but obviously I need to work out what it is and how much it's gonna cost to fix it.

I can post up some other pics if people are stuck...

looks like one of the aircon pipes to the condensor rad, under high pressure so hence the metal pipes

and if i am correct, i suspect not a cheap job!!

Yup, that's an aircon pipe. Will need replaced and system re-gassed, before the compressor dies from oil starvation.
