Scorpion Exhaust Poor Quality ?

Featured Replies

Purchased a cat back Scorpion system from a well know retailer in Dec 2009 (resonanted) in Sept 2010 started making a noise and i noticed the taipipe on the backbox had rusted (bad welding) and the bracket had come loose.

Contacted the retailer and he said they would fix it but i had to go to them whochis a 200 mile round trip for me and a day off work, I begrudgingly agreed and they repaired it. It has now got another hold and a crack the other side of the back box.

The retailer has said they can repair it but cannot replace as they are no longer manufactured, i have said i cant afford to do another trip and asked for a refund and i will go and choose another exhaust. Waiting on a reply but he has said not much chance of getting a full refund....not happy at all.

Any one else had any problems with their Scorpion stuff and aftersales

Scorpions are well known for not being too hot!

had the same opinion when i was in the BMW scene!

still waiting on a reply, i am looking at getting a new backbox done by Blueflame has anyone dealt with them?

they are worse lol.

IIRC they went bust or something and changed names slightly. a few last I heard were done over by them.

I got a Longlife exhaust which tbh is crap but that was down to the operator who made it, needless to say he was fired and they have said they will remake the exhaust for me under warenty over 3 years later lol so I am happy with that. Prospeed in Cardiff is another that are good.

Id go to a specialist and have it made up custom jobby.

good luck mate

went to Long Life Exhausts in the end and glad i did. Paid £200 for a new back box including a fancy tail pipe fitted there and then would recommend !
