remember my good mpg thread?

Featured Replies

Its been hot here recently and I'm moving, been driving back and forth down some good roads.... pushing my new tyres... and I have found myself (for the first time with any car ever) turning off the music to listlen to the engine... its addictive, it positively sings!

anyway, I've been hooning around most of the day, back and forth, just enjoying the mad noise and hot weather...

28mpg :( lol.... bloody good fun though!!! I'm enjoying this car more and more with every day

28 aint that bad...according to my fuel calculator I am getting a consistent 32-34 over every tank.

*cue another MPG thread* (only joking!)

I concur with the engine sound though...there is just something about the noise which makes you want to hear it :)

I get that around town anyway so not too bad ;)

That's pretty good imo when hooning on an engine with a turbo and a supercharger kicking out 180bhp

I do like the noise a lot. Especially when your downshifting and the engine is singing about 4K+

Even better on upshifts at 5k, then you get a fart!

Never heard this myself...

0:40 into the clip, it's abit more vocal on mine but you'll hear it on your too at those rews.

whats the least you have had on the instant mpg?

seem to recall seeing 9mpg when exiting an island on to a dual carriage when on holiday in Cornwall....but didn't have that much time to look :D
