Anyone who have Fabia 1.2 tsi dsg that know whats the ratio of the gears in D-mode? a bit higer in S-mode I guess..

Example.. If I drive in 70-90 km/h will it drive in the 7 gear? or will it change gear often?

Something like this perhaps?

1 gear 0-5 km/h

2 gear 5-15 km/h

3 gear 15-25 km/h

4 gear 25-40 km/h

5 gear 40-50 km/h

6 gear 50-70 km/h

7 gear 70-189 km/h

It depends how much you press the throttle. If you go very gently it will hold the high gear, press harder and it will shift down.

It will reach 7th very quickly if you dawdle about. Basically, Mike is right, it all depends on throttle input and where you drive. If it's a hilly area, it will change down from 7th to get you up that hill!

I understand that it will change down gear in a uphill

Gear ratios are the same in D & S mode. In S mode it only changes up at maximum revs and doesn't use 6th & 7th gear.

A slightly different question about the 1.2 tsi, do the manual 105 and 86 both have the same ratios as eachother? And do they pull the same revs at 70 mph (indicated)?

Pretty sure their gear ratios will be the same.
