Asked this question on few other topics but no luck so far..

I tried switching Swing to Columbus and found all sorts of problems.. First, Swing is bigger and don't use any plastic surround, so you have to disconnect "Passenger airbag OFF" plug to take the Swing radio out. I red somewhere that you need to disconnect the battery before unplugging the thing but it didn't work. I got Airbag error. Secondly, the plastic mask (fascia) that I ordered for Columbus fitting have a hole where "Passenger airbag OFF" module (or whatever it is) should be. So now, I have nothing to connect the Passenger airbag connector into, and I have a little hole under the Columbus. Of course I still have Airbag warning light and error sound. I plan going to Skoda workshop to delete errors, but I wonder will the error return and will pass. airbag function normally.

Should I leave it like this or should I order Passenger airbag off module (or try to remove it from my Swing, if that's possible).

I would highly appreciate any answer to my problem.

Youll need the switch before the errors will be cleared.

IIRC this is a separate part and needs to be ordered separately, and cannot be removed from the larger Swing headunit.

Thanks guys, you really are quick with your answers. In theory, does an airbag error like the one I'm getting have any effect on an airbag performance?

(and why my dealer had no idea that i'll be needing one when we ordered fascia?) :'(

You can remove passanger airbag light from swing panel and put it back to columbus frame

I went to the dealer and (eventually) we found that "Passenger airbag off" switch. It fits easily onto the plastic frame around Columbus/old Bolero.

Just in case anyone will need it, it's code name is 3C0-919-234-A. That's for me in Croatia, you guys in the UK could have 3C1 or 3C2 in front.
