Just flipping through my car stuff and realised that the previous owner of my car is at the bottom of the log book with they're address. mmmm.. I thought..

So I went on google maps/earth (as it's years behind) and put the old owners address in, straight away got birds eye view of address, zoomed into street view and there was my car in a drive way looking brand new!! Cool.

For some reason it's nice to know it was parked in a drive.

Best not put the pic up as it's on some ones property.

I've looked at the previous owner's address and can't see my car. I've looked on street view of my house and it's not on my drive, although I was in my house when Google scanned my street, (my dad had borrowed it). I've looked on Ariel view at my house, both on Bing and Google, I can recognise my red/orange Metro on the drive.

I suppose it's one of those things, right time right place.

I had mine for nearly 10 years. It finally went to Metro Heaven in 2006. You are right though, it's very rare that I see a Metro/Rover 100 (Austin or Rover) on the roads today.

I've seen the odd one or two. Knew of someone who had a Montego a couple of years ago, crikey. Lol.

I did this for mine and realised why it had so many chips under the sills, live down a mile long gravel track to a farm....... Was not happy!! Explained the dead sheep that was still in the boot when I picked it up too! :-) haha
