Parking Sensors and Parrot Kit

Hi all,

I am looking ag getting a parrot kit and parking sensors fitted to my Fabia vRS. Been quoted the following:

Supply and install Parrot Mki9200 with adaptor lead for Skoda

Supply and installation of 4x reverse parking sensors Steelmate PTS400EX including colour coding

TOTAL Â£410

Supply and install PARROT MKi9200 and Laserline EPS 4006 colour coded to car

TOTAL Â£518.00

The price difference is a little bit of labour but mostly the cost of the parking sensors.

Does anyone know of these 2 makes and which is better? Steelmate PTS400EX or Laserline EPS 4006?

At the moment obviously I am favouring the cheaper overall price.

Any thoughts/help much appreciated!

Anyone got any thoughts on this as I am wanting to book an installation soon?

The parrot kit is supposed to be very good , i believe that is the one with the larger (approx 2" square) screen plus ipod connection. Am afraid i dont know about the sensors i have the skoda dealer fit ones. Hope this helps a bit.

Hello. I had bougt a Skoda Superb IV(model year is 2025). I think that there is a problem with my reversing camera. I added a photogragh which shows the image quality. The image is blurred and not sharp. Can you look at the image which i added and make comparison with your image quality?

Hello everyone I'm new here. I acquired this very clean example from a dealer up north (newcastle, sadly 120+ miles from where I live) 2016 2.0 TDI Technology estate 70k miles, cambelt & pump and service done just before I picked it up Now for the problems. Hey guys, Just wanted to share some of my positive experience with the 6 speed DSG DQ250. I wasn’t happy with the DSG behavior on my Octy because it was jerky between 2nd and 3rd and vise versa. And also between 1st and 2nd with light throttle. So I decided to check the DSG oil by adding 1liter and also check for leaks from the DSG filter seal due to some oil on the transmission which I’ve noticed while changing the engine oil few months ago. Hi. Had the car since May 25. Always been a knocking sound like metal on metal from the front suspension when driving over bumps in the road. It sounds a bit like an old worn shock absorber on a car from the past. The dealer identified and acknowledged the unusual sound but were unable to identify the cause.
