I've been invited to go along to a photoshoot by Auto Express magazine on 7th March at Brunters.

They will be taking pictures for a forthcoming article, and will be using me and my car in the issue.

What I was wondering was whether anyone has a set of Briskoda showplates I could borrow for the day, as I don't want my reg on display (especially bearing in mind how rare the car is).

Whilst I would never normally wear a sunstrip, I'd be willing to do that for the good of the community

It's funny, but the guys at work spent 10 minutes discussing whether or not even the stickers were a good idea. Until I pointed out that, what the hell, one or two more stickers ain't gonna make a difference!

They emailed me to confirm. Hope to see you there!

I'll be prepared to lend you my plates, funnily enough this is exactly how they look on my car...

right down to the scratches and dent on the left side on the (now replaced) bumper. The only snag is I live in London and there are drilled holes and as they are on my Rooboy plates it would have to be stuck on.

Just got an email stating that they have everyone they need...

They were inviting Octavia owners to a photoshoot - as it happens several from Briskoda. AFAIK all the slots have been filled from what's been said. I'm guessing they've had a fair few replies since Friday.
