The 1000 miles 'till service indicator appeared yesterday. I'm going to book it in for a service in the next couple of weeks. It's covered just under 52k at the moment.

I'm thinking of the following for the service.

* Oil and filter

* Pollen filter

* Oil pick up pipe

* Brake fluid

* New spark plugs - oem?

It's had the cambelt done last year (inc new water pump), a new air filter last week, a new fuel filter last year. The brakes were stripped, inspected and cleaned three months ago. It's never had new plugs, it did blow a couple of coil packs after the remap three years ago, but none since. Is there anything else you can think of that would need doing at 52k?

i would say coolant and the fuel filter should be changed every 2-3 years i cant think of anything else unless you think your aircon needs to be re-gassed due to the hot weather we are haing :p

get gear oil done - oil is only £12 and makes a big difference

also get oem plugs - no point in anything else tbh
