I recently bought my son an ELONEX eTouch Android Tablet from eBay. Unfortunately the one I bought was misdescribed. It was a 760et that was listed but it was a 700et I received. I decided to keep the item as the seller did apologise and offered a partial refund. The main reason for wanting one for him was so he could watch his movies and play angry birds. The version of Android on this system is 1.6 and doesnt have official access to the Google Android Market, instead allowing access to some other kind of market.

So being new to Android what I really want to know is, is there anything I can do to get angry birds or to allow access to the official Google Android Market?

Angry Birds has always been free on Android AFAIK. Try here but that may be just for the phone version.
