Anyone interested in a trade?

Featured Replies

I have had my Elegance Combi for about ten days now and while I like the Luxon wheels on it I really do still want the original Lunas I specced but Skoda rather annoyingly discontinued.

Is anyone out there after Luxons instead of Lunas and wants to swap?

I will say that my wheels are MINT and in 10 days have been waxed 3 times already (just trying to demostrate my anal wheel cleaning fettish!. Point is, if we were to swap yours would need to be the same!

Anybody interested?

Dave

I don't blame you ... but sorry I'm keeping my Luna's

Not very helpful I know :giggle:

It's not that I don't like the Luxons, I think they look super classy, its just that I do starship mileage and cleaning them after a 1500-2000 mile week doesn't appeal! Especially in winter.

I have quite big hands an struggle to get right into the wheel to clean it. Therefore I'd like the 6 spoke Lunas.

It's either that or I buy a set of 19" Audi 5 spoke alloys and sell the Luxons.

So, any takers?

I thought I'd read that the Luna's were a weak design and are therefore more susceptible to buckling?

You might be better sticking with what you have...

Luna's were an option also, albeit no-cost, so were not common... yes, they have also been reported to be prone to bending etc.

If you fancied a swop to Themisto's (Luxon's with less spokes) then just give me a shout. I have a set of Luxon's with Winter tyres on, and think they look the Mut's wotsits!
