I used Lamin-X

Mk4 Coilovers will fit but they'll be the wrong spring rate for the extra weight of the Octavia

I normally hate smoked lights because of how it makes them look dull. But that looks rather nice! knocks back the chrome inside and is still rather shiney by the looks

Thanks :) Yes they're still pretty shiny. The finish was why I went for Lamin-X over Flyeyes.

I wanted to de-bling the front a bit and had been thinking of doing them for ages. I thought they might be illegal for NZ's WOF (MOT) but it passed the last one with them fitted.

Could you get some close up shots for me please :)

Can someone with a black octy with a black grille do this for me so I can determine if I do it to my car or not lol

I bought mine directly from www.lamin-x.com, but they do have a UK shop www.lamin-x.co.uk

One 12" x 24" Universal Film Cover was just enough but I had to measure carefully.

It's easy to cut with a craft knife and you just use water to apply. You need a roller to roll out the bubbles but it's not hard to do.
