I've found the "Rear Seat Storage Box" on the Skoda Accessories site, but it says it's for estate only. Basically what I want to know is whether or not there would be a way to make it fit or anything like that? Or would it cause all types of problems with the parcel shelf etc? Here's a pic of what I'm on about:

This is just my opinion but I doubt it would fit as the estate parcel shelf thing is on a roller, and this box sits in special cut outs within the side mouldings in the estate. Also when you pull the roller cover (tonneau?) across the boot it clicks in place in special guides.

I think this will be a lot of hassle to be honest.

And it is a pain in the proverbial as it eats up 2 inches of available height in the boot.

Try loading all your fishing gear in - I have to keep taking the damn thing out!

It is a pain to get anything out of it as well!

Is it the Superb that has a special umbrella 'pocket' in the side of the door (where the latch is) that you can put a collapsible brolly in and it drains through the door to the outside?? Much neater idea IMHO.

I tried an unbrella in mine - stoopid idea - it just slides left and right as you go around corners and bangs into the sides of the box.

It IS good, however, for a baguette as I found out when on hols in France.

Lol thanks guys, I thought that might be the case. Although I didn't think about it moving and banging around. It is the Superb with the place in the door, but I'm guessing it's pretty much impossible to fit that to an Octavia, unless I'm mistaken?
