How easy is it to replace a set of springs on a car? I'm looking at fitting some eibach pro springs to my new car and wondered how easy it would be to DIY..

It aint as easy as it seems. I tried to do mine, but my the claw round my shock was rusted to it.... so I had to call a mate (a mechanic) out to release it by using a large chisel and hammer :( was so worried. Once he released it, it was all straight forward.

A few tools needed,

G-clamps (condense the springs)

A specialised tool from skoda to release the clamp ( didnt work for me)

Swan neck spanner 21mm (i think)
