Hi,does anybody know what length bolt to use i know it's either 8or10mm dia,just want to order them before the bar arrives.

About 25mm will do the job just fine. 8mm dia will be a slightly loose fit in the strutbrace holes, 10mm is correct, but will mean you will have to be super accurate with your drilling or your holes won't line up. I went for M8x25mm and Nyloc nuts.

PS the steel on the top of the turrets is double thickness - around 4mm so expect to spend a long time drilling, too, and probably wear out at least one drill bit.

Don't try & blast straight through the turret with an 8 or 10mm bit either,

Get a couple of 6 or 6.5mm bits and drill pilot holes first.Trust me it will make life a lot easier

I used 10 mm bolts...it's not going anywhere

Hmmm my experience of pilot holes in the past has been chipped drill edges and occasionally, snatching. However you pays yer money .....
