New head unit

Featured Replies

Hi,

New Octavia owner here.

Looking to install a new Double Din headunit with DVD etc.

Car is a 2005 Octavia 2.0 TDI DSG Elegance.

I have buttons on S.Wheel for the audio.

Can anyone tell me if I do fit an aftermarket Headunit, do I loose the reversing sensors ? Not really bothered

about loosing the display as I tend to just listen to the tone anyway. Is this wired seperately into the speakers ?

Also if the unit is steering wheel compatable, then is it just a simple case of using the correct adaptor etc ?

Thanks in advance

I believe you will lose the display, but not the tones. Steering wheel should be okay if you have the correct adaptor.

Simon.

The Zenec units are supposed to be excellent and fully compatible for everything. (Wish i could afford one emoticon-0101-sadsmile.gif )
