Car limping at high 3rd 4th and 5th and 6th

I had to go through this thread twice to make sure i'd read it correctly!! Hybrid with NO intercooler??!!

Breathtaking.

As Wardy says really, I wouldn't drive it like that personally; intake temps must be utterly ridiculous.

Did someone recommend this set-up would be ok? If so, sue them. Now.

Ditto. I thought I wasn't reading it correctly too. The engine was designed to have an intercooler fitted, so especially with a remap and hybrid etc it REALLY needs one fitted. If it was me I wouldn't be driving it at all. But if I absolutely had to drive it, it would be very low revs and trying to drive without using the turbo much.

Lol forgive me lord for I have sinned. I didn't realise it would be so bad as some setups have no intercooler at all. It's parked up in the 'broken spot' and will remain there until I get the uprated core or at least the SeatSport welded up again.

Correct answer. :)

Less painful in the long run mate

You'd be cheesed off if you mashed your turbo.

Hope you get it sorted soon.
