Speed indicator in mph ?

Featured Replies

Skoda are also gearing up to start selling in Canada (which uses UK gallons) and expect some 'leakage' to the US.

This should not tun into a nitpicking contest, but Canada uses litres for fuel consumption and prices - not UK galons, that changed more than 25 years ago. Vehicles sold in USA and in Canada have speedometers with dual indications in miles and km per hour as standard.

Agerbundsen - The UK went metric in the early 70's yet we still use miles for distances and mph for speed. Ask a Brit what is the consumption of their car and they will tell you mpg, not km per litre. Theory and practise are not always the same. Canada may work in the same way, hanging on for grim death to Imperial measurements.

I don't normally get up to the M25 when I am off (I drive round it often enough in a 44 tonner!) BUT it might be a possibility on the Wednesday 31st August on my return from Shark

PM me some details of where you are please.

I can probably come down to you one day in a month or two...

PM sent.

Having spent 32 years i North America, I can report that it is not so. But you can never tell with those colonials, can you? :giggle:
