Hey all,

Has anyone had any experience with rear Torque Arm inserts?

I installed an APR insert yesterday on my MY10 Octy RS DSG.

http://goapr.com.au/products/engine_mount_insert.html

And although it has sharped throttle response and almost eliminated a few of the flat spots around 2000RPM... it's downfall is it vibrates.... SHOCKINGLY!

So much so, that when I pull up at a set of lights I have to put it in neutral or park so that it's no so loud and annoying.

Has anyone ever dealt with this? And if so, is there a remedy?

Have I just installed an insert that is too hard?

Does anyone know which has the least vibration out of the Powerflex, Neuspeed or SuperPro (APR)?

Also, I've got a Milltek Full turbo back exhaust coming next week, will this help soften the rattle, or worsen it?

Thanks fellas, much appreciate you help.

All of the inserts will make it vibrate

I had a Neuspeed one in my FR TDI for about a year ive upgraded now to THS FR3 Engine mounts

How was the Neuspeed one? Did you get a loud buzzing?

I understand that all inserts will cause some vibration, I'm just trying to work out which has the least of the all...

Any ideas?

Mine is a TDI sound vibrates anyway, Whole car vibrated, Open doors rattled etc

I have the Neuspeed one fitted to my manual TFSi and it does not vibrate in the slightest. Though most bushes take a while to settle in and the vibration should reduce.
