Fabia SE+ mdi cable

Featured Replies

Just picked up my Fabia SE+ today. I thought that I would get a cable to link my iPod throught the interface , but there was no cable in the car. My dealer seems to think Skoda no longer provide them, but the online brochure states that the SE+ comes with a MDI interface and cable. Has anyone on here with a SE+ received this cable? Noticed that it was not provided late afternoon so too late to contact the dealer.

No longer driving my little yellow smart.

If you have a copy of the online brochure print off a copy and go back to the dealers with it. When I got my vRS I wasn't given a cable, after I pointed out I should have received one they gave me one.

Thanks, I have just had a dig through the previous posts and will be ringing SUK on Monday morning. I should have had a dig through before posting, my bad.

Might be worth popping down the dealer tomorrow to point it out, if they don't agree then try SUK

Our local dealer doesn't open on a Sunday and when I asked about cables when buying they were under the impression that Skoda had stopped supplying them. I think I will get a quicker response from Skoda themselves. Otherwise cannot fault the dealer. Hwmbo (lol) has bought four cars from them.

My dealer asked which one I wanted in my SE+ 2 months ago. I recall (though may be wrong) that it came with the ipod one but he arranged with the parts manager to swap it with a USB one in the accessories display.

It still comes with your choice of cable :)
