Btw that tuning box will do nothing

Probaly nothing inside it....

I did actually.. no placebo effect, whatever is inside, changed engine response.. far quicker to the point of scaring me a few times.

Made ASR lite up for the first time since i own the estate.. more than a couple of times.

Anyway, just fitted Raceland coilovers and i'm quite satisfied.. she's far more stable and stil confortable to ride.

Quite happy with it.. now she's ready for a decent remap

The drop looks nice- get some new alloys on it

November 1st was the day the "tuning module" came off.. and a custom remap based on the PD130 map went in

Quite happy with it.. far more responsive, no trace of black smoke coming from her behind and still good fuel economy

As for new alloys.. only when i find one that truly amazes me..

DOTZ HANZO would be nice if she was black magic.. but she's not..

Hopefully i'll find some that inspire me :p

I have a lot of love for my two estates at work. Both 2005 1.9 PD100 in Ambiente flavour.

A vRS SE Wagon rep would be a treat in Race Blue. Dropped on dark rims with rear tints? Someone has to!

i think they look a lot better with roof rails though - I havent got them on my Polo Estate (not even the option of them from VW!) and I think it looks awful without them, too much like a 4-door hearse or a 4-door van.

Actually I think it's because the mkII looks better as an estate.

I won't put what I think of the mkI estate body shape here as I'll be flamed for the next 1000 years.

Needless to say I prefer the mkI as a hatchback and the taller mkII with a longer body.

Reagarding the fabia, I suppose you could fit some more sound deadening stuff under the carpet and to the bulkhead. Other than that, turn the stereo up ?

As for the noise, i gave up and decided to live with it.. :S

Oil pressure gauge is finally instaled.. future mods will include tinting windows an painting the wheels black.
