Hi all,

After years of Saabs (Classic shape) and Mercs I have finally found my way into the world of Skoda with a 2007 Octavia 1.9 Tdi (PD) Classic Estate with just over 50k on the clock. Very impressed so far after two months of ownership, although a bit of a bouncy ride over humps. I was considering the sports suspension conversion with a set of nice alloys, but reading the forums suggests the jury's out on the benefits, especially to rural dwellers like me.

Anyway, good to see lots of worthwhile advice on the forum.
