Has anyone seen the topic in auto express about the strip down of a seat, the part that cought my eye was the bit about the wear and damage to the clutch plate springs and the diff bearings. Not looking to good for us who are running these gearbox's

Doesnt surprise me really seems the gearboxes are made of foam as soon as we get ours back run it over the winter and punt it for a BMW again probably a 7 series.

Yeah I seen that about the gearbox, however if I remember right the car had done 100k in a short period. TBH for a hard driven mag car it came out reasonably well, VAG had agreed and had monitored gearboxes after they had reported it. 1 box or a lot? We need to wait and see I suppose.

But hey ho some people on here don't believe a total cost comparison between a diesel and petrol ocatvia using same standard parameters in auto express on this site :wonder:
