Service Schedule

Featured Replies

Is there a downloadable service schedule in miles prefereably? I'd like to know the cam belt change interval and any other must dos that can fall between the variable services.

Resurrecting this topic. I'm on variable servicing, with my first variable service due in a couple of months on the car's 2nd birthday. I'm interested in seeing a servicing schedule for my 2.0TDi CR Scout. Does anyone have access to suitable schedule, preferably in KMs?

It varies engine by engine and from one production year to the next.

The service intervals and what is needed is all detailed in the service book supplied with the car.

Cambelt mileage varies, however in the UK it is at four years regardless of mileage.

On the Scout remember the that the Haldex oil needs changing at 40,000 miles.

I was at my local (Newcastle) dealer on Saturday for the free vehicle health check, including cam belt inspection. They said 60K/4 years (exactly where mine is) is when they recommend an inspection, but the belt is not due for repair til 100K (note Audi say 75K/5 years) After inspection, they said the belt shows no sign of wear, so I'll get it done next year.

Ask them to put that in writing to cover your back. 60k/4 years is the recommended time to change but it's very unclear what the time span/milage is. Speak to Skoda UK Customer Services and ask them. Tell them what your dealer says

If it goes pop before you change you may not have a leg to stand on

Just a thought
