Car MOT Friday, anything I should watch out for.

Featured Replies

My Superb 2 is 3 years old next week, and is going in for its first MOT on Friday, is there anything I should watch out for. Car has covered 39K miles, so about average for 3 years old.

Remember to check the screen wash, tread depth, all lights work including number plate and all seatbelts lock and retract properly. Best of luck with the dreaded test.

Also dont have anything hanging from the interior rear view mirror, one of my friends had her car fail cos' of that.

Said "vision obstructed", stupid but true. Good luck

I got some sort of comment about not been able to check the seat belts due to the child seats been fitted, still passed, but I would have removed them if I'd known to.

The verdict is in and she....

Passed, with flying colours. No advisories or anything, so all good for another 12 months.
