Hi I am Francis a new member of the forum so hope I get it right. I have taken delivery of a new Fabia Scout estate 1.6 TDI 105 ps and enjoying it very much.

I have just one question. When I am driving in 2nd or 3rd gear at about 25 mph and touch the brake to slow down at a roundabout the car still continues at the same speed when I have taken my foot of the accelerator is this normal. This only happens intermittently. I definitely have the cruise control switched off. Naturally I will contact the garage if this is not normal.

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. That went well and it came to my place this last weekend. Early 2012, 1.2 TSI, 5sp manual, 158k miles on the clock. This is it, just after being washed. A while ago, a car parked behind mine decided to spontaneously combust, melting my rear bumper and the outsides of the light clusters, plus scorching the hatchback. The light bulbs themselves weren't damaged and still worked, as did my aftermarket reversing sensor system, none of the wires were melted. I got a garage to replace the bumper, hatchback and light plastics, but I'm having a problem with the "faulty light" detector as, whenever I turn on the lights, the bulb symbol on the instrume

I've had my Octavia mk4 for almost a year now and I'm looking for somewhere to get an annual service. For the previous 15 years I had an old vw bora and had been doing a basic yearly service myself, so I'm a bit out of touch with handing the car over to someone else. In 2022-2023 I had problems downloading the updates fro my Skoda Kamiq and eventually it had to go in to the dealers to be brought up to date - a four or five job on the computer. Dear Experts , Can anybody advice me what is the part about i.e side airbag or earthing ?
