Aerial question

Featured Replies

Super duper quick one,

Right, received my bee sting aerial and I am concious of it being pinched by some little scruff. Would I be able to use thread-lock on this without jeaprodising the signal/reception?

Thanks

TIGHTEN IT ON WITH A SET OF MOLE GRIPS WITH THREAD LOCK,, WONT AFFECT SIGNAL MATE,, DONT GO TOO TIGHT BUT!!!!!

I'd be loathed to tighten it any more than just a bit over what you could do with your best effort without any tools. Silicone grease on the outside bit as well as threadlock on the threads, may help with tightening it. Threadlock shouldn't affect reception.

Personally I'd rather let them have the aerial than fail to get it and key the car or something else instead.

Me too. However, I'm shark finned up now so it's

irrelevant in my case.
