No idea what this is?

have a look at http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=131433.0

The EA113 is used in the Golf R and develops 270 bhp. The EA113 was previously used in the Mk 5 GTI and developed 200 bhp. The EA888 is more fuel efficient, with lower emissions and is apparently easier to build than the EA113. Given that the EA113 had already been tuned for service in the S3, it was easier and cheaper to simply stick this older lump in the R than develop the new EA888.

I have not seen those diagrams and pictures before on the internet, it's produced after the Yeti was launched.

Absolutely no idea if this is a school project or consultancy project or design review?

interesting document

seems to suggest they analysed competing vehicles in minute details and took the best bits of design from each

use google translate on bits of text and you get the idea

i like the bit about the floorpan, seems to show the front is skoda design, and rear axle back is VW design and a few new bits to glue it all together

the other one was the bit about the tailgate / spare wheel, they looked at al the designs on competiton and looked at the pro's and con's of each in the form of a tick list

really gives an insight as to how the design process at skoda works, no wonder they beat VAG at their own game

I quite like the sound of 5 cylinder petrol, is EA888 a 5 cylinder unit?

Edit:

That folder and the parent folders are all unsecured.

There's a load of information on the Yeti/Skoda there, interesting.

I seriously doubt its meant to be on the internet in an unsecure directory.
