My Red Fabia VRS progres....

Featured Replies

Hi to everyone,

just want to share my car I got and work I done to it,

bought last year, prob December as standard car, full skoda service history inc camblet etc. 1 previous owner it was,

so after that I thought that standard car specially red one doesnt look great and needs to be transform a bit

so I started with LCR splitter, black grille and for lights surrounds,

then wrapped B pillars in matt finish black,

then I sorted rear door seals out to stop any water or damp coming into a car

as I had one front and one rear speakers buzzing, I decided to upgrade front and rear ones

front by FLI 16,5 inc adaptors (given by friend) and rear by pioneer geniune skoda speakers (£15 ebay)

I am black cars maniac, maybe thats why,

but there was red one so I bought red one :)

What are these genuine rear pioneer speakers I keep hearing about? Are they worth it? Seem quite cheap too :)

seem quite cheap but stock clearance, sounds ok,

not sure about better sound performance as Im not fan of loud music,

I ve done it only coz I had to change speaker anyway

I was planning to put 17" spiders on, so I had to lowered a car to avoid funny 4x4 fabia look

I used Eibach Lowering Springs (25mm drop I belive)

Also I put Green panel filter

and coz was lowered I decided to put strut brace on from Seat Sport

How do you find the strut brace? Much of a difference?

Hopefully will be fitting mine this evening or more realistically tomorrow afternoon. I cant wait.

You feel it sharpens up steering response,

so for that small money why not to improve it

So after Eibach's there was time to put new wheels on,

I had to refurb them first, but on the end they looked spot on,

then was time to choose what tyres were going on,

215/40 - paradas spec2 or 205/40 - proxes T1R

Toyos won coz they were almost new,

Looks sweet mate, could of put some cheeky meguirs endurance gel on the tyres though :p

Nice. That's proper boy racer style.I prefered the first picture though.Where did you get the splitter and wrap from mate and is that underseal on the door seal?
