did not pick the wifes car up as i had a mishap on the way to the show room, i am now waiting for the o.k to repaire the PX (the wife car again golf)

should be picking up the car this week some time

You crashed the PX? That sounds familiar - I did that once. It all worked out ok in the end though...and the dealer never knew

Certainly my better half does a fair bit of 'tut-tutting' when I'm driving her new fab vRs and she does wonder at my finding extra reasons to 'just borrow' the furby

Well it needs the running in miles doesn't it? Not that I'd welly it or mis-use the wee car....
