For those of you of an elderly disposition (ie 60 or over) you might try SAGA who are running some promotions at the moment. I know its not a VRS but I got quoted £205 for a 59 plate 2.0 PD Elegance Estate including NCB protection. Aged 61 with 10 years NCB.

Whilst I was on to them I asked for a quote for a 2010 Fabia 1.2 TSI SE (belonging to the wife). £182, again with protected NCB.
