I fitted one to the Roomster last week.

Does it work? No. Reception is all but gone. VCDS throws a fault code saying radio open circuit. I got better reception on FM through my mobile than I now get on the radio :giggle:

I'll be buying a siganl booster from Halfrauds to see if it makes any difference but I'm not holding my breath.

Can you get one from the dealer?

My FL Octy has a Shark Fin (along with the other little bit for Sat Nav) and reception is excellent.

Maybe worth purchasing the one fitted to the new cars and see if a retro-fit is possible?
