SKODA Superb Estate Elegance ordered today

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,

Just ordered a new Superb Estate Elegance 2.0 TDI CR 170PS DSG DPF this afternoon.

Additional spec:

- Steel Grey Metallic colour

- Dark Grey/Black leather seats, floor and trim

- Electrically-operated tailgate

- KESSY - Keyless entry and start system

- Park assist, with front and rear sensors and Maxi-dot PPA

- Variable boot floor

- 18" Luxon alloy wheels

Anticipated delivery mid January 2012.

I had real trouble trying to decide on colour but opted for what seems to be a safe option given that the brochure colours do not appear to be very lifelike. The dealer had a used hatchback in the same colour and I must say that it looked very smart with the black/dark grey leather interior.

I think Skoda need to improve its standards in relation to computer systems as my salesman had terrible trouble selecting the correct vehicle to the extent that the system insisted that my car was a manual and it didn't allow the colour choice for the leather to be entered. A number of hand written notes were appended to the order to clarify. I shall certainly be keeping close to this aspect as the order progresses through the Skoda system.

If anybody has any comments to make about my choice of car and factory fitted options please feel free to give your opinion.

Welcome to Briskoda,

Nice choice of car,

Thanks for the welcome from everybody.

I am a "vet" (veteran) by age (68yrs) and not by vocation and I live in West Sussex.

My CRV may be a 4x4 but the nearest I have been to off road is the gravel driveway going up my sons driveway so no real need for this function. I also want to continue with an auto gearbox and gain a little more mpg when travelling down to Spain a couple of times a year.

hello and welcome, the car is in a nice colour and you should have a nice ride when you do the longer journey to Spain.

Awesome choice of car.

I'd already be wanting it now!
