Hi

I am using a Nokia X2 paired with my Columbus bluetooth unit.

It works fine but when I receive a text while driving I have to read it on the Maxidot screen which I find a bit distracting plus the message is not stored on the phone.

Can I turn off this function but still keep the ability to make and receive handsfree phone calls??

I have searched the forum but not found anything.

I think the only way to do is is to disable rSAP and use as a normal handsfree. This means the phone receives the signal etc instead of the car....

you could always get another phone for the girlfriend to text to when your'e in the car with the wife.

You can transfer the text back to the phone via the maxidot Can't remember how but it is fairly easy. Rather than reading the text on the maxidot get the car to read it to you, again via the maxidot. This is very funny with jokes as is is read mono-tone
