Hi everyone, first time on the forum and recent owner of a Fabia VRS.

I'm looking to buy a rear brake carrier (driver side) plus the slider & grommet...was wondering how much it was and where the best place to get it.

The story goes...I was changing the rear discs and pads today and noticed one of the slider is fully rusted into the carrier. I had to shear the slider to get the carrier off. Tempted to drill the slider out of the carrier and reuse it but that depends how much for a new one. Worryingly the grommet looks in good condition so not sure why it was rusted inside unless the previous owner(s) did something to it.

Anyhow thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give me.

Probably around the £90 mark new, a lot less at a breakers, or someone from this site.

I've got a pair of carriers off a MK4 golf with solid disks if they fit?
