The Next Leon Cupra ??

Featured Replies

Having seen pictures in the Sun today, I have just checked out http://dealer.seat.co.uk/dealers/index.html,

After seeing the dogs dinner that is the new Toledo at the dealers last week, I wasn't holding out much hope for the new Leon, but all I can say is wow what a stunning looking car  and it got the 2.0 litre Turbo & DSG gearbox from the Golf GTI, wonder if the dealer will take a deposit for one now.

Quality advert...

The car looks stunning tbh

Here's hoping

Looks like the new Golf GTI

Stunning looking car....................Have to agree about the top quality of the advert.......

I like it!... very stylish and although it says prototype it looks production-ready so hopefully all that detailing inside would stay. Did Seat steal the designer of the Alfa 147 by any chance?!!

Like it - only thing I dont like about the advert is that it takes too long to get to the good bit ;)

Car looks ace :D

I do belive you are correct

I like it looks very good if all of the ideas make it to production

Have to say the 4 cameras / 2 screens intruiges me a bit

Wow, thats nices.

Whats the bit about the spare tire anchored to centre console

Presumably if you wait long enough a car does eventually appear?

hover the mouse over the advert and click a few times...

Finally you get to the end of the thing and it's the same as the pics posted by PittVrs a week ago, and only 4 pics at that. A mish-mash of Peugeot and Alfa styling. Nice red colour. Otherwise - pretty unremarkable.

 thought it was just me.Was surprised at my patience too

Eventually saw a car! but i liked what i saw liked the front end particularly...only problem is.....

needs to be an estate :sofahide:

Urgggh, thats feckin orrible. Bits of alfa, civic in there. And the front end is just plain ugly. Wouldnt be seen dead in it. Or indeed alive.

Full set of piccies in todays Auto Express

IMHO too many angles: looks like a Bangle Beemer gone even dafter :thumbdwn:

  • 1 month later...

I hated it and slated it in another thread :D

Looking at the Auto Epress pics this week I am starting to really like this car

It has a quality interior.Looks quite upmarket. The interior boot shots(sorry,no pic) looked good and the car looked quite squat. And I do like the colour too.

Finally they reckon the 2.0 fsi will shoot it to 60 in 6.9 seconds. Not the be all and end all I know ;) but a quick car. Will the skoda mystery machine(god, why are they so bloomin secretive about it  )better be good

Only downside, they reckon it will be selling for
