A good wee buy today

Featured Replies

Having read that I could plug a harddrive into the media port on my furby I set about looking for a reasonably priced one and found this the Samsung S1 Mini 120gb. Got it from Maplin for £34.99 it's very small as you can see in the pictures and comes with one long and one very short USB lead. It's also comes with a nice little wallet to keep it in when transporting.

I got mine of the Bay of E for £4.50 posted genuine VAG part too. My car came with the Iphone/Ipod Cable so i can chose between if i want but 120Gb of music should be enough for the car :)

pretty sure that works try it and only copy 1 albumn over just to test it. If you search the treads there are a few on this already

If it doesn't like NTFS, reformat it to FAT32. Do a google search and you will come up with a few free formatter utilities that will do it for you. I've used one called GUIFORMAT, which works well.

Right Mike's Advise worked formatted the drive from NTF to Fat32 using GUIformat programme filled it with songs 2 folders one my music and one the wifes.

It works a dream thats all i can say all song ablum info comes up on screen hit Mix and it shuffles through the tracks.

Highly recommend if anyone has this media port to do it dont know what the max hard drive size is but 120gb is enough for me dont even think ive filled 20gb yet

I've got the seagate goflex (250 gig) bought off the net, formatted to FAT32 and works perfectly, fits the space perfectly too
