Fabia Symphony Head Unit Question

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm picking up a fabia with the symphony head unit in...

Is it possible to connect an iPhone and if so how?

Any pictures of this would be greatly appreciated

Thank You

Evening,

Yes, its possible. You can buy adapters that plug into the cd changer port on the head unit, that sees the ipod as a changer.

Looking to do this on mine also, trying to narrow down the options on Ebay

I've got the connects2 ipod connector in mine, works alright, doenst charge up the iphone mind you, but plays fine through it, you can even use the skip buttons to move through the songs

This sounds good. How much are the cables and where from? Also does this connect in the rear of head unit?

Thanks

£30-£90 depending on what you go for, from ebay. Yes, in the Cd Changer port on the rear.

If the car you are getting has a cd changer already, you will not be able to use both.

Luckily- no cd changer on the car. So I'm right in thinking that with

One of these cables I can listen to iPhone through head unit.

Also- what is the oem sound system like? Foolishly I didn't test it out!

Absolutely right :)

Sound is not bad, but not great. I find it sufficient, although a little lacking in bass - I tend to spend my ££ on my home Hi-fi, not the car's - I'm running 3 amps in the lounge!

Haha! I'm sure it'll be adequate then. Any chance you can send me a link to what I should be looking for? I can't seem to see any for much more than £2!! Think I've searched the wrong thing?!

Thanks
