First time Skoda owner, Superb pd130 - Couldnt afford the Audi equivelant but very pleased with the motor, I do have a slight rattle between 1500 - 2000rpm but under full throttle its not there, Im assuming exhaust but havent investigated yet. Forum looks good, Look forward to troubling you with my problems! Ray.

The rattle can be a number of things:

Alternator pulley

Air intake trunking

Exhaust, to name a few.
